Worlds First video that was uploaded on YouTube

There is something even Facebook has not been able to win, that’s YouTube. Even though one of the major features of Facebook is that users get to share videos, people have loved to share videos more on YouTube than on Facebook.

How was YouTube created?

YouTube was founded in Valentines day[February 14 ] 2005. Hurley and Chen had a party at their house while Karim who did not attend the party denied that the party occurred. So as a evidence they wanted to show him the video of the party but due to limit in sending file through email he could not. So later they themselves thought of creating a simple video sharing websites which now is the world’s most famous video sharing/viewing website.

Which is the video?

The first video on YouTube, was  uploaded at 8:27PM on Saturday April 23rd, 2005. The video was shot by Yakov Lapitsky at the San Diego Zoo. It is just 19 seconds long.

 The video seems to be captured just to upload it to YouTube :) . Karim (person speaking in the video) co-founder of YouTube is seem at the Zoo where he describes the elephants that are behind him and says that the cool thing about them is their really really long trunks. (rofl).

Below is what exactly he says;
All right, so here we are in front of the elephants,
the cool thing about these guys is that they have really,
really, really long trunks,
and that’s, that’s cool.
And that’s pretty much all there is to say.
